Words from the Executive Director

Welcome to the Choose College Educational Foundation's home page and blog. As the Executive Director of CCEF, it is my job to work myself out of a job. To that end, CCEF wishes to make college a reality in all communities, schools and households. We want the "You can go to college" message to be broadcasted throughout communities on billboards, TV, radio, and the web. We want to create a college-going society where high school graduation is no longer seen as the pivotal point of a student's academic career but as a minor stepping stone to their ultimate academic, career, and life potential.

Through the CCEF website, it is our pleasure to provide tools, resources, and support for families as they maneuver through the complicated waters of the school and college systems. It is our pleasure to provide information and resources to educators and community members in their quest to assist youth in finding a pathway to success. Come to the site regularly to obtain updated information on the college going process, educational issues, and more. Take time to explore the site and give your feedback.

July 2012 / Update: January 2013

The Oakland Raiders partnered with Choose College Educational Foundation for a fundraiser to benefit the My Brother's Keeper Project (MBK). Many people bought tickets Raider Home Games and the proceeds will assist MBK provide college programming and scholarships to African American males in the Bay Area. 

We will start the program up again next season! We accept checks, credit, and debit cards. If paying by credit/debit card, provide credit card information on the order form or call or visit our office to process in person or over the phone. We must receive your order and payment at least 30 days prior to each game. Tickets can be mailed or delivered to you or you can pick them up from our office.
